As a member, you will receive four editions a year of the Gazette de Darwyn containing news of our work, activities and events.

The Refuge does not receive any state or cantonal funding or subsidy.

Only the owners of horses stabled at the Refuge (the ‘active’ members) pay a subscription to cover the housing and
upkeep of their horses . 

Horses in retirement, maltreated or saved from the abattoir depend entirely on voluntary contributions for their upkeep.

- Become a half-way house : if you have the space, welcome a horse for a limited time while we find him a permanent home.

- Become a ‘transporter’ : if you have a suitable vehicle or van, would you be prepared to transport one of our horses in your region?

- Become a volunteer : distribute publicity for the Refuge, help us with the horses, and work on one of our stands when we hold our regular events.

- Become a Partner : provide us with a product or service and we will publicise your business to our members
